Meet our Trustees
AGM 2024
At our recent AGM, April 22 2024, two candidates were unanimously elected for two vacancies on the Board of Trustees - Pawan Kumar and Joy Watts. In addition, Steve Thomas and John Lyons, who were retiring by rotation, were re-elected. Liswa Busakwe stepped down from her position on the Board and she will be greatly missed. About
Saint Catherine’s is a trustee Church of Ireland and while we have no geographical parish, and our church governance structures are quite different, we are still very much a part of the life and ministry of the wider diocese of Dublin & Glendalough. The Church of Ireland has a number of Trustee churches in the Dublin Diocese and this has proved to be a helpful legal structure to enable different ministry expressions to exist in parallel with the more established parochial structures. You can read more about the Church of Ireland here.
The role of the Board of Trustees is to hold the vision of Saint Catherine’s in focus, while being ultimately responsible for the trust-owned building and the finances of the church. Our current board are pictured below (Left to right) Andrew McNeile (Chair), Ade Stack, John Lyons, David Ebbs (Secretary), Declan Slattery, Joy Watts, Aisling Kelly, Steve Thomas and Pawan Kumar.
