Ruthless Elimination of Hurry
This book was written a few years back, but paved the way for conversations on Spiritual Formation in recent times. John Mark Comer has an incredible way of writing that is relatable and easy to read. His knowledge is far beyond his age, and experience in the local church has given him the ability to write in such a way that informs our experience as followers of Jesus, and how we may engage with some of the challenges we face in the church today, especially on what it means to be a disciple and making disciples.
As JMC writes, maybe the way forward is to look back & learn from those who walked before us.

Habits of the Household
Daily habits are powerful ways to shape the heart--but do you find yourself giving in to screen time just to get through the day? You want to parent with purpose--but do you know how to start?
Habits of the Household is filled with practical ways to weave the story of God into the lives of our children. Whether it be over the dinner table or bedtime routine, this book will open your eyes to the spirituality of parenting, seeing small moments as big opportunities for spiritual formation.
We recommend reading a chapter at a time, and put some of what you read into practice. Discuss with your spouse & children as you go, and reflect on some of the changes you are noticing.
